Overview:

The arrival and success of mobile devices into enterprise and education has changed the role of internal IT and device technical support forever.

In our iOS Deployment and Management in Enterprise course will explore how to plan, implement and manage a full iOS device deployment in a institution. Over 2 day’s we will explore how iOS is managed and deployed and how iOS devices fit into the education and corporate space. You will also learn how to use Apple Configurator and Profile Manager to create and deploy configuration profiles and how to easily activate a batch of iOS devices.

Prerequisites:

This is an intermediate course so delegates should have some experience of using iOS.

Course Outline:

In this course, we will supply you with a company scenario, which you will analyse to design a basic deployment guide. You will then set up OS X Server and Profile Manager and set up a basic deployment for a 1:1 deployment and a Shared device deployment. You will then use Apple Configurator 2 to design a mass configuration against the business case study we have given you, and then learn how to manage your devices once deployed using Profile Manager.

Throughout the course, we will touch on the differences between deploying devices in business and education, Understanding the role of Apple ID’s, How to design an effective support desk to maintain your devices in the business and how to apply our knowledge and theory effectively to a case study.
